Ingredients:
- 300g pasta
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat
Add the chopped onion and garlic and cook until the onion is soft
When you add the sliced mushrooms to the pan, cook them until they dry out and turn golden brown
Add the heavy cream and cook for two to three minutes, until the sauce gets a little thicker
Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and becomes creamy
Add pepper and salt to taste
Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet slowly with the creamy mushroom sauce after adding it
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley
