Ingredients:
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 sandwich buns
- 1 cup coleslaw
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Honey, soy sauce, garlic, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
You can put the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and then pour the balsamic mixture over it
For 8 hours on low, or until the pork is soft and can be torn apart with a fork
Take the pork out of the slow cooker when it's done cooking and shred it with two forks
Warm up the sandwich buns a little
To make the sandwiches, put a lot of pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun, then add coleslaw on top and chopped parsley on top of that
Cover the filling with the top half of the bun
Serve hot
