Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced red onions
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped mushrooms, shredded Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Mix until well combined
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat
Grill the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through
Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly golden brown
Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, and red onions on the bottom half of each bun
Top with a turkey burger patty and cover with the top half of the bun
Serve immediately and enjoy!
