Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Ketchup and mayonnaise for garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, dill pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, salt, and black pepper
Mix well
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat
Grill or cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or longer for your desired doneness
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and allow it to melt
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute or until they are lightly browned
Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce leaves and tomato slices on the bottom bun, followed by the cheesy burger patty
Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the top bun, and then place it on top of the patty
Serve the Logan County Hamburgers hot and enjoy!
