A spicy and sour take on the traditional margarita. The rhubarb syrup's unique flavor adds a lovely sweetness to balance out the heat from the jalapeo.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz rhubarb syrup
- 1 slice jalapeo for garnish
- Salt for rimming the glass
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
Rim a glass with salt by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into salt
In a shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and rhubarb syrup with ice cubes
Shake well until chilled
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice
Garnish with a slice of jalapeo
Serve and enjoy!
